Wedding Suit

A suit, also known as a business suit, consists of a pair of trousers and a jacket made out of the same fabric. A blazer is closely related to a suit. However, the difference lies in the buttons and the outer fabric. As far as blazers are concerned, they have big metallic buttons, and the outer fabric is also more durable as compared to suits. They came into existence as blue colored uniforms of civilian bodies like airlines, schools and other big organizations.

The man’s suit of clothes is a garment, that is crafted from the same cloth. The English word suit derives from the French suivre, “to follow”, i.e. trousers and waistcoat follow the coat’s cloth and colour. There have been various styles of suit, the most common of which is the lounge suit, sometimes called a business suit, which originated in England as beachwear. The other type of suit still (rarely) worn today is the morning suit. This article discusses the lounge suit, which is classified as “informal” in the hierarchy of dress codes.

Some say that every man should own at least one nice suit. You might find you need one for formal occasions such as weddings and funerals, or maybe you work at a job that requires business attire and you require several suits to rotate in your wardrobe. For trans men who are are not on T or who are not yet being read consistently as male, a suit can provide a more masculine and distinguished look. It can have the added effect of making people take you more seriously on the job or in formal settings.

An elegant wedding suit can be in a variety of wool fabrics, in a range of colors and patterns. The weight of cloths is measured in either ounces or grams, with summer garments in the range of 7 to 8.5 oz., and winter weights from 9 to 11 oz. in a temperate climate. Blue, black and Gray are considered business colors in the traditional world. However, in recent years, there is greater variation, depending on the formality of the office environment, and in many instances tans, olives or brown tones are appropriate. Classically, the pinstripe (a pin line in a narrow setting) or chalk stripe (a soft chalk line in a wider setting) are woven on ranges of deep blue or Grey.

Grooms wear different kinds of clothes in different parts of India. In the South, grooms either wear the traditional veshti (dhoti) and kurta or three-piece suits. Grooms in the north wear a sherwani with a churidar pyjama, a bandha gala suit, or a western-style suit. Turbans are also very popular, for the groom and the important members of his entourage. North Indian grooms set forth to their weddings adorned with a sehera, a veil of flowers tied to the turban, to screen their faces from the evil eye.
